ok this is one of my favourites.. i wrote i when i was in the 10th standard and woo hoo it came out to be a sonnet.. MAGIC OF SUCCESS PEACE IN MIND, BLISS AT HEART, GOD IS BLESSFUL, BLESSED THIS PART. NONE TO HEAR, NONE TO SEE, WHERE IS SUCCESS? WHERE I BE. TIME SHUNNED ALL WORDS THAT BAFFLED AND BATTLED LIKE SWORDS. SUCH IS THE MAGIC OF SUCCESS.... FOR SPEND IT NOT ON SHADOWS WHO SPEND IT ALL ON WINDOWS. BUT TOIL AND MOIL THAT ALL DAY LONG, DO HEAR AT DAY CALL THE TRIUMPH SONG AND BLESSED THEY FEEL WITH FRIEND AND FOE, SOUL IS FREE, JOYS NO LIMITS KNOW, SUCH MAGIC OF SUCCESS DOES TIME BESTOW.
The Legend of Friendship The legend of friendship when time shall relate Recall I shall a beautiful mate Forgo then all pain and melancholy And remember days sweet and lovely Days of bliss, of luck, of joy of laughter, Days of fun, of mirth, of dreams, of wonder. Humming to melodious music, Tapping to jazz and pop. Wandering near river banks all day long, Playing thief and cop. Going to school, attending of classes, For being late-home missing of buses. Bunking Jha’s periods and attending Singh’s, And during Chaubey’s taking to wings. Had much fun, `twas a long run, Winters in shade summers under sun. See now what time has done, Some have lost, others have won. Still think I, what does loss signify? Should I agonize or on mate’s victory glorify? For some I lost, for me others did, For those others, I won and for me those some did. Agonize I wont for you are mine, I’ll wait silently for the reward of time. But where are those moments, where those days? Passes by time, the memory stays.

To all those who run fast in life...

Turn Around and Dance Just slow down a bit Turn around and dance. Don’t hurry too fast. The music you wanna dance on, May not forever last. Just slow down a bit Turn around and dance. Why try uselessly? You can’t overtake yourself. So play your part, Rest a bit, rise to a trance. Slow down a bit Turn around and dance. Don’t be too fast For, the music may not last. Jack left you and you left Lynn In life’s path, forlorn a kin. Don’t you think you’re running too fast? Just wait and think, The music won’t last. Enjoy every moment, Give life a chance. Slow down a bit Turn around and dance.

to two of my best friends-lovely and kareena

S he smells of rose She smells of rose and shines of gold, Pulchritudinous, and heart so bold. Her looks can blossom drooping hearts Saddened souls and gloomy parts. In lonely starry dreamy nights I think of her with granted rights. But treading her path in dancing gait She makes me waver, doubt my fate, Will she be back? Or go ahead Leaving no footsteps to trace? Leaving behind the promise of a fire, In which, all my life, I shall warm my hands And be content of having met her once, Merely trying hard to hold her tight To my album of memories So that I don’t miss a single moment spent with her. I still get her fragrance, And get blinded by her smile, Still her smiles make me throb more hard. She shines the azure, And leaves the skies starry, This story to many a kinship I told, She smells of rose and shines of gold...
