Terrorist attacks.... and the blame game continues

this is a comment i posted to friend pankaj goenka's article on terrorism.. just thought its good enought to posted on my blog too..

Its not merely the question of this terrorist attack.. Today there has been a terrorist attack and we are crying on it, or feeling sad, or to a certain extent feeling angry too. Tomorrow there will be a flood stricken area and we will express our melancholy towards those who lose their homes, lives, rather everything. And the next day there will be a train accident and again there will be various blogs discussing it, blaming people- politicians or officers, youth or whoever.. BLAME... yes thats what we all do. Sitting in our rooms or savvy offices, having a cup of hot coffee, with added coccoa, while taking a break from our work we visit these blogs, either post articles or read them or post comments, blaming someone or other. We blame, blame and just blame.. But what do we do? NOTHING most of all.. We talk of a generation gap, youth doping, faulty govt. or even blame parents for not taking care of their children well.. Get over it guys. Do something positive. Lets try and help out in the smallest way we can. It might not do away with the terrorism (which sitting at my laptop i personally don't see doing much against) but it will unburden our motherland from some other stigmas.. Every individual counts.. Every second counts.. Every act counts.. Now the question is- do what? I say do anything- anything that you may think is right to help out. Stop blowing horn in jams or at signals(nobody intends to stay fixed on the road, its just a matter of patience), switch off the lights when moving out of your room, don't party this weekend (you may consider doing some social service or if u think this would be bit too extravagant, save the money), don't litter your country.... and if you think this way, a million thoughts will flash your brain. But for the sake of Lord just stop cursing and blaming others. The world is suffering not because of the noise made by those who should keep mumb but bcoz of the silence of those who should speak.. GOD BLESS.

Wah Dost...Completely agreed. What is the use of ranting when we know the end result is like effortless puff which would stand no where. The different things you mentioned are not small. Just think the impact when the whole country follow that! Mr APJ Abul Kalam rightly said that we go America and then we return we keep on talking about the cleanliness there and keep nagging about the litters all over in our India. But does it ever strike that people in America have to clean their dog's shit themselves on road. Ask here how many will do that here. We get up we want the roads clean, we want no jams on road, we want every bit perfect and what do we do - BLAME.
If one can't do any thing just appreciate. Just don't keep counting the faults, it never helps.

hey thanx suz.. i thot nobody ever did n ever will read my blog.. lol.. and ya as far as blaming is concerned, its a serious issue. everybody says that the drain is dirty, blocked and so it stinks but no body wants to get in to the drain and clean it. same thing about the politics, or govt. offices.. either be content be whats going on or be courageous enough to come forward and make changes, blaming is essentially cowardly, well mostly.
